After some discussion on the phone regarding the issue we determined the necessary parts wouldn't be available until Monday so it didn't make sense to come and charge the weekend emergency fee. Very satisfied with the service. This is a very old furnace (about 25 years old). Jack will be back as soon as the part is in.
Unfortunately the part won’t be available until Monday and this was a very early Friday morning call. This is the coldest stretch we have seen in years and I am 80 my mother, whom I take care of, is 101 so space heaters are needed to make the house livable.
The service would have been been better if they offered a space heater rental. Just a suggestion to deal with emergency heat.

“The process began with a request for a quote under the Mass Save rebate program. Mike came to the house and did a thorough evaluation of our current heating and cooling system. I had already gotten three quotes from other HVAC companies, and Mike was the most detailed estimator. We received a quote with three options, and I selected the Bryant system with the highest efficiency for both heating and cooling.
Precision Home Services were able to schedule me in a timely manner. Precision also kept me well informed on what to expect. They do as much document submittals to Mass Save as they can, and provided information on what I had to do, including how to obtain the loan.
Cody was crew chief for a team of installers. They removed my old gas furnace and air conditioner and installed a high-efficiency Bryant heat pump and gas furnace. The process took two days. Day 1 included the removal of the old furnace and AC followed immediately by the installation of the new gas furnace, so that our house did not lose heating in December. Day 1 also included prep work for the outside AC compressor unit so that it was set on its new raised pad, connected, pressure tested, and configured on Day 2.
Additional details for the installation included some electrical work, included in the quote.
Too many details to include in this review, but I will mention that the crew took great care to maintain cleanliness, the new unit has clearly labeled intake and exhaust piping (which replaced the existing PVC piping that does not meet codes), the condensate pump for the furnace has a neutralizing system for the acidic condensate liquid that the furnace produces, and the new smart thermostat is totally programmable and connected to the wireless network for management of the furnace/heat pump system.

He identified the problem, but didn't completely solve it. The condensate line was not draining, and it turns out it's still not draining, but now I've isolated it to the external drain line, nothing internal to the furnace.
How can I be sure? I have the drain line going to a bucket rather than the external line and the furnace runs like it should. As soon as I put the drain line back on the external line, a few hours later the furnace will stop and it is full of water. I've disassembled the external drain components, cleaned them and reassembled. I also vacuumed out the external exhaust and intake lines. The furnace is now operating correctly.”

“We’d had persistent A/C issues ever since moving into our home 18 years ago. In our first visit, Ryun and Dorian pinpointed specific issues which explained the source of all our problems. Jack was great. Although the rattling did not occur while he was here he made sure and tightened things up. Upon his investigation found what might be the culprit and addressed the possible issue.

“Tim installed a Mitsubishi Mr Slim Split Unit for me in the spring 2015. The workmanship was first rate and the price was very fair. He and Jose showed up with all materials in the morning and completed the job in late afternoon the same day. The work site was clean and tidy. Then they tested the unit and explained its features to me and showed me how to operate it. A week later Tim told me about an available rebate from my electric service provider and directed me to the website where I was able to get a $350 cash rebate! I highly recommend this company and I plan to hire him again next spring to install another unit for the lower half of my home.”
