“Last November, 2025 I noticed that our Ruud Power Vented, Hot Water Heater, (originally installed in 2014 and now 12 years old) was showing signs of rust around the bottom of the water tank. To me, the rust ring was an early sign that the time to replace the tank was soon approaching. I called Precision Home Services since they also take care of my HV/AC, my Standby Whole House, Generac Generator and now could take care of my plumbing and electrical needs as well. I scheduled to have their plumbers replace the water heater on their schedule rather than doing it as an emergency replacement if the old tank were to develop a more serious leak spreading extensive and possibly unannounced water onto my cellar floor. I asked for it to be done and billed before year end. They scheduled it to be done on a certain date, pulled the necessary Town Gas Plumbing/Fitting Permit and completed it in a timely manner as I had requested. They also installed a new Power Venting System to meet the new Venting Code Height Specification of today’s Plumbing Codes.
